We have developed a variety of murder mystery dinner approaches to entertain around the country.

Below are some of our more Frequently Asked Questions with appropriate answers.

Q: What does MADE Comedy mean? And why is it all capital letters?

A: MADE has a couple of meanings for us.

First, we are improvisers. this means that our comedy is MADE up. We are constantly adjusting to what is going on around us and we adjust to the situation. Even our shows involving audience members as the characters in the show adjust to the things they say. This keeps everything fresh for our audiences.

Second, MADE is a mob term referring to being someone that has been accepted into the group and is at the top level, rather than entry level. All of our people have at least two years of experience performing in public and once they are performers they are truly part of our crew!

Q: Why is MADE in all capital letters?

A: We went back and forth about that. Our real company is THEY improv. MADE Comedy is similar in the branding and so it just makes sense. Additionally, we like the emphasis on MADE because it implies that our shows are all unique and made for our audience on any given night.

Q: Wait! THEY improv? I thought you were MADE Comedy, right?

A: Yes, we are THEY improv, LLC. We are a Florida based company that began performing a variety of shows all over the country and beyond.

We created THEY improv Presents: MADE Comedy as a way to perform in Italian restaurants. We have done so many shows as mobsters it needed its own branding. Officially, though, we are THEY improv.

We have four basic approaches that can shift to your needs.

From Clue Parties with everyone playing characters, to Cambridge Solutions with a few people playing characters, we help participants to be the stars of the show!

Frick And Frack

Frick & Frack Show

We use professional comedians to interact with your crowd and create a murder mystery on the fly. It's a great alternative to your more standard approaches for groups with friends who know each other.

Straight Murder

The Straight Murder

The industry standard with our own great twists has our MADE Comedy professionals interacting with your group leading to a murder and a comedic investigation.

Gala Mystery

The Gala Mystery

For large events, we bring a small army to entertain. It helps us give the audience multiple things to look at and we drive their attention around fun activities.

Q: How do I book you?

A: Simply contact us and we will walk you through the process. We will want to know the size of your group or venue and what will be happening at the event. We will then present a variety of options and various price points.

Q: What impacts the price?

A: The easiest way to look at it is that the more work that we do, the more it costs, and thus, the more we charge. So the more performers, their level of experience, costumes, writing and travel that we might have to do will impact the cost.

Q: Are the shows clean or are they blue?

A: There's not a simple answer to this. Our official policy is that we remain one-level cleaner than the audience. So you would define the type of show that you would like and within that format we would adjust to the audience.

Q: Are there age restrictions for your shows?

A: It has more to do with the venue than with us. We have no age limitations but some of the venues might have issues with liquor being served, etc.

Q: How do I get tickets to a show? 

A: We are at the whim of the venues that we perform at. If you would like tickets, you will have to contact them directly. If you would like to know about upcoming shows you can reach out to us and we can contact you when shows are coming up.

Q: Aren't you using negative stereotypes of the Italian-American Community?

A: It's very easy to say that. The reality is far different. There were people that were very bad and that did very bad things. The concept of a community working together to benefit one another outside of the system is not a negative. The concept of having a large feeling of loyalty for one another is not a negative. We celebrate these positive aspects and don't follow down the path of mistrust of others, the commission of crimes or the disregard of authority. As long as we stay true to this mission, we are actually celebrating and not denigrating.
